happy new year! to myself... ahaha

on 31 dec we had steamboat. i insisted on it hahaa

i felt quite touched by my mum. coz i was digging out the old steamboat in our house and to my horror (why am i even surprised judging by how bochap all of us are) the steamboat is basically usable coz the bottom of the pot is scraped very badly. im sure other pple would be more particular about that coz it looked like it could cause food poisioning since the black stuff of the pot might actually come off during cooking.

anyway my mum was saying should she just go buy a new steamboat.
i was like "oh dont bother, dont need to specially go buy a new one just for this"

but anyway she specially went out to buy one for me...so i was quite touched. and she helped me buy prawns and minced meat, and even marinated the minced meat for me so that we could make meatballs with it (since i dunno ANYTHING about cooking)

i know they really really let me have my way all the time.

yep anyway felicia and i went to buy food at ntuc, was totally fun (to me). bought eggs, chicken stock, mushroom, potato, tomato, meatballs, fishballs, chicken wings, nuggets, BEN AND JERRY...cant remember others haha but it was quite a lot of food.

anyway after the whole dinner we just binged on ben and jerry's and nua-ed on the sofa watching channel 5 countdown. wow it has actually improved and less boring than usual but of coz they can only lip-sync. haha.

my tv blew up btw so we are getting a new tv. dunno to be happy or not, but the tv is going to be bigger and located in a new place, and we are finally finally getting a recorder. just when im not interested in watching real tv anymore.

btw i finished watching gossip girl in around 3 days. really enjoyed the show and my fav character is hahahahahha chuck! apart from the fact that he doesnt look very nice (like a psycho + shark) but i really like his character. and my second fav character is blair, so hahah i love the pairing. it's so cute! and awwww at the end of season 2 :'( poor blair.

i really like rufus + lily too :)

can't believe we are going to start classes tmr. depressed depressed depressed.
